Frequently Asked Questions

Do you handle the debris removal after demo?

Yes — debris removal and site cleanup labor are included in every demolition job. We haul everything away and leave the site ready for the next phase of construction for a fee, for fee details, please see the junk removal section.

Can you remove load-bearing walls?

Yes. Load-bearing wall removal requires a structural engineer's beam design and a building permit. We coordinate both, install the beam properly, and handle all required inspections.

How long does interior demolition take?

A single-room gut-out typically takes 1–2 days. A full-home interior demo can take 3–5 days. We work efficiently and minimize disruption to the rest of your home.

What about lead paint and asbestos in older Seattle homes?

Seattle has many homes built before 1978 with potential lead paint or asbestos. We follow EPA RRP protocols and recommend professional testing before any demo in pre-1978 homes. We can coordinate certified abatement if needed.
